2010: In May 2007, I accompanied my husband on a business trip to South America. I was privileged to visit Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. During that trip, I blogged because I knew it would be a once in a life time experience. I wanted to capture and the color and culture in pictures and to share the day to day with folks back home. I called it Chile-Argentine Dream.

Upon my return, I realized how much I enjoyed writing and how, even so far from home, I found crochet and crocheters and connected with them with this international language: crochet.

I changed the name to crochetqueen-royalramblings and have just celebrated five years of blogging.
